First Missionary Letter!

A few days ago I got my first missionary letter from my friend who is currently in the MTC right now. Next week, actually on St. Patrick's Day in fact, he will be going to Missouri to teach the people there. I am really excited for him to go share the gospel to other people. Everybody has said their missions have been the best two years of their lives hopefully it will be for Elder Davis.

From the letter I got he seems to be doing really well, even though its kind of hard for him to adjust to a schedule that has his whole day planned out for him, but it will be worth it for sure.

Every mission is hard regardless if you are in a foreign country or in an English speaking state or country. I know have said this a lot on how he will do really well but seriously he will. Plus, he gets to go to Missouri where a lot of the church historical sites are. That's pretty cool. Counting today, he has been in the MTC for two weeks and one day. The thing I like about going on a mission in the u.s., compared to a foreign country, you get to go out to your mission sooner to teach. I am not saying that going to a foreign country for a mission is bad, it actually would be really, it's just harder having to learn another language.

With the missionary activity we did when I was in Young Women's that experience has motivated me to someday serve a mission. I just think it would be awesome to share the Gospel with other people who don't know the truthfulness of it.

It has been a very long time since I posted I decided I would update it with things going on in my life. A couple of weeks ago my family and I were able to do the Salt Lake Connect Pass. It gets you into 14 different attractions to an amazingly low price. There are different options varying from one day passes all the way to yearly passes. Out of everything we did the favorites of mine were the Zoo, the Lionhouse, and the Clark Planetarium. First off, who doesn't like the zoo! All right, there are probably a few who hate walking around in the 90 degree weather looking at animals. But I absolutely love it. I look forward going to the zoo at least once a year. I'll admit my favorite animal is one that people would think weird but I love crocodiles nonetheless. The only disappointing thing about seeing the crocodiles are that they are always sleeping. Going Skydiving

On April 19, 2014 I had the chance to go skydiving with my family. It was such an amazing experience and I will definitely do it again. Someone was nice enough to pay for my sister and I to go. I am so blessed to have some amazing people in my life. She sure do care and I am so grateful for their examples. We went to Urda just past Tooele to do it. It was very funny because before we went to get all suited up to go we watched this 15 minute video on what to do when you were going to jump out of the airplane. The guy had the longest beard I had ever seen. I was wondering if it was actually fake lol. He gave us different symbols such as chicken wing and banana. It was very interesting for sure. Then we all got suited up and each of us had a photographer as and a video man who filmed us and took pictures. I am so glad we signed up for that because those memories are going to last forever.
