Going to Vernal

During Spring Break my mom and I had the chance to go out to Vernal. The main reason that we went there was my mom had to do some work there. After she got her work done we were able to go to a few places and site see.

The first place we went to was the Dinosaur Museum. My expectations weren't that high going into the Museum. However, I thought it was a really fun Museum. I learned some new things as well. Here are some pictures of us exploring the Museum:

The second place we went to was a state park called Red Fleets. It's called Red Fleets because the trees look like a fleet of ships. Anyways, the scenery was very beautiful there. Here are some pictures from Red Fleets:

The third and last place we went to on our day trip was the Vernal Temple. We didn't actually get to go inside it because there wasn't enough time but we got to take pictures of it on the outside so it was still pretty cool. However, I am so used to modern temples that we have now that it was completely different seeing an older temple. It was built in 1907 so its like 103 years old I think if I am doing my math right that is. Here are some pictures from that:

We finally took off and said goodbye to Vernal and headed home. Here is a picture of me enjoying my Carl's Jr. Dinner. It was delish!

Overall, I really enjoyed going up to Vernal for a day trip. You would be amazed to see how much there actually is do in Vernal.
