My Week

My past week was kind of stressful because it was the last week of the term. Now, its over and I have only one more term to go until I am done. I am so excited. Other than school, on Friday I had the chance to go to Juan Diego High School to see a girl in my ward participate in Utah Junior Miss. Of course, she did awesome. I even heard that she should have won the talent portion of the pageant because she did amazing. I was still happy for her. However, the girl who won the competition happens to go to Lone Peak. She has been in a class of mine and she seems like a cute girl. I am also happy for her. She gets to go to Alabama to compete for America's Junior Miss, exciting, huh? On Saturday, I watched a lot of March Madness games, (since of course I am really into basketball and like to watch it) and later on we went shopping and I got this very cute green, white, and black dress at Kohls. General Conference

I don't know about you, but I sure had a great General Conference weekend. The good weekend started off on Friday being able to go to the BYU game and then from there on. On Saturday, I really liked Elder Bednar's talk. It is something that we can all relate to. He talked about three steps. First, express your love and show it. Second was to bear your testimony and live it and lastly was to be consistent. I heard a lot of people especially like Elder Uchtdorf's talk that his was amazing. I have to say it was a really good talk as well. As far as Sunday goes, it started off with some delicious coffee cake. It is a tradition in our family to have it every general conference. However, the bad thing was I really wasn't able to watch conference that well cause my younger brother Bryce was being annoying to us. According to him conference is boring. Fun Stuff!

So on Thursday I was able to go and get my Senior pictures. I don't know if this sounds weird or not but I kind of felt like a model because the photographers would have you do all these poses and then they would take a bunch of pictures of you. It was actually really fun. The only thing, is I don't why but when taking pictures it's hard for me to smile for some reason. What I mean is, its hard to make a good smile. So, here I am the photographer is trying to get me to smile and on top of that there's my mom in the back giving me goofy expressions trying to get me to smile. It was kind of embarrasing, but oh well. Then, we went up to Manti and were able to watch the Mormomn pagent. Before that we had dinner, that consisted of a wonderful BBQ Turkey and other good side disihes. It was wonderful. We all sat on a blanket and watched it with the Manti temple in the background.
