BYU vs. San Diego State

Image
Last night my brother Chris and I got to go to the BYU Men's Basketball game against San Diego State. Like always the games are awesome. It was a really good game despite the game being really close in the first half. In the first half alone there were about seven lead changes so it was pretty intense. Then in the second half BYU started to dominate. And who else did it for them was of course Jimmer Fredette who got 26 points, not bad for a birthday present. I didn't realize until after the game that apparently it was Jimmer's birthday and supposedly the student section of the crowd were singing happy birthday to him but I was in the stadium and I didn't hear them at all. Maybe it was because it was loud in there. Let me just say that the crowd was loud like really LOUD last night maybe even more loud than the Utah game I went to. Of course being the competitive person I am, I yelled and screamed through out the whole game, which really isn't a surprise

Getting Baby Chickens!

Yesterday my dad and brother went and got baby chickens. Let me just tell you that they are so adorable. Sorry Molly (our dog), you'll have to move over and let the baby chicks have some of the attention now. Here is a photo of some baby chickens. I got if off the Internet so it's not them but they look a lot like the baby chicks we have.

Ipod Touch!

Yesterday, I am happy to say that I got an Ipod touch. I was so excited too. I got a really good deal. I bought it from my younger brother's friend. Of course, it was used but it costed me only $85, and it definitely was worth the money. Not trying to brag or anything but it's pretty amazing cause not only can I download music on it, but I can download movies if I want, there's a ton of games I can play on it, and did I forget to mention that it also has the Internet on it. This is the best ipod I have had so far. I started with the ipod mini, then I got a zune (which unfortunately broke), then I got a old ipod nano, and now I have an ipod touch!

BYU game and Valentine's Day

So I really have been a slacker on this blog. It's been a while since I have written so I guess I will update now. So on Saturday I was able to go to the BYU vs. Air Force game with a friend from the singles ward. It was really fun especially going with someone who is big time sports fan just like me. The best thing was it was a blow out. Air Force competed maybe for the first three minutes of the game and then it was all BYU from there. BYU made an amazing 10 three pointers in the first half and JT went five for five on three pointers in the first half. It was pretty much an awesome game! Then on Sunday was Valentine's Day. It was kind of unusual for me cause I am used to Valentine's Day being on a week day. Nonetheless, it was a great Valentine's Day. Some of the family came over to celebrate my brother getting home from the military. It was a fun day for the most part. We started off by visiting until dinner was ready. The dinner consisted of lasagna, salad
