Snowshoeing

Yesterday, on Thursday I had the chance to go showshoeing. Let me say that it was a lot of fun. If you haven't gone snowshoeing I highly recommend it. We went snowshoeing at the Solitude Nordic Center.

It was very nice there. The scenery was awesome, the sun was out, and the air was clear. I say that the air was clear because the air of Utah is really gross these days. Plus, an all day pass to go snowshoeing is only $5. Another deal that I found out was if you go with a group of 10 or more people the pass is on $3 and if you need to rent snowshoes they are $6. It was pretty much a good deal.

The only thing that wasn't great going snowshoeing was my straps on my snowshoes kept falling off so I had to keep adjusting them. It was kind of annoying. So, if you buy or rent snowshoes get some that will actually stay on your feet and not slip off.

Solitude has good trails too. They have easy trails up to challenging ones as well, so it fits for everyone. As I said before it was really fun. The great thing was when we went snowshoeing was it wasn't busy. It was great.

It has been a very long time since I posted I decided I would update it with things going on in my life. A couple of weeks ago my family and I were able to do the Salt Lake Connect Pass. It gets you into 14 different attractions to an amazingly low price. There are different options varying from one day passes all the way to yearly passes. Out of everything we did the favorites of mine were the Zoo, the Lionhouse, and the Clark Planetarium. First off, who doesn't like the zoo! All right, there are probably a few who hate walking around in the 90 degree weather looking at animals. But I absolutely love it. I look forward going to the zoo at least once a year. I'll admit my favorite animal is one that people would think weird but I love crocodiles nonetheless. The only disappointing thing about seeing the crocodiles are that they are always sleeping. Going Skydiving

On April 19, 2014 I had the chance to go skydiving with my family. It was such an amazing experience and I will definitely do it again. Someone was nice enough to pay for my sister and I to go. I am so blessed to have some amazing people in my life. She sure do care and I am so grateful for their examples. We went to Urda just past Tooele to do it. It was very funny because before we went to get all suited up to go we watched this 15 minute video on what to do when you were going to jump out of the airplane. The guy had the longest beard I had ever seen. I was wondering if it was actually fake lol. He gave us different symbols such as chicken wing and banana. It was very interesting for sure. Then we all got suited up and each of us had a photographer as and a video man who filmed us and took pictures. I am so glad we signed up for that because those memories are going to last forever.
