Relief Society Meeting

Image
So, on Saturday my Mom and I and the Maag's (their mom and two daughters Ashley and Danyale) were fortunate to go to the Conference Center for the Relief Society Meeting. It was a really neat experience for all of us, especially me though since this was my first time going. Before that though, we went to dinner. We always go to dinner before. We went to Olive Garden, which was so good. F.Y.I if you haven't tried their Chocolate Gelato, you should because it is too die for. They give you three big scoops of ice cream plus they top it off with carmel, whats better than that? Then, we were able to go up to the Conference Center. The only thing was the traffic was really bad. There were two accidents that we saw going up to Salt Lake. Plus, the Utes were playing that night so we saw Ute fans driving up to the game so they had a part in the traffic. But anyways, I loved the meeting. The choir was wonderful. Remembering September 11th

This post is for all those who had family members involved on September 11th. This was such a terrible day for a lot of people. I want to say though that I am so grateful to live in such a great country having many freedoms, compared to other countries which don't. Thanks, especially to all the men and women fighting in the military. You guys rock! God Bless America!

BYU pretty much dominates!

Today BYU played Tulane, pretty much an uncontested team. They dominated them seeing the score was 54 to 3. Way to go BYU. Keep up the good work!

BYU-14 Oklahoma-13

I never doubted into this game that BYU had the potential to win Oklahoma. And it paid off in the end, as they were able to triumph and prevail over Oklahoma, the third best team in the country. By the way here is Brian Kariya, who did an outstanding job in the game today. Did I forget to mention that he is my sister-in-law's brother, pretty cool isn't it?

Job Search

Recently, I have been looking for jobs on and off campus. Luckily, I have been getting help from a UVU counselor who has been helping me to find some to apply to. So far I have applied to six jobs and I am going to apply to more. The great thing is all the ones that I applied to are what I am interested in so it works out well. I go back next week to my counselor to work on my resume and apply for more jobs. :):)
