Over The Weekend

Plenty of exciting things actually happened over the weekend. First off, one of my really good guy friends, Craig, called me up to ask me if I wanted to go to prom with him. I of course said yes. The only thing that concerned was being able to find a dress in a week, because well he asked me at the last minute. The next day though, I went to the mall and I was able to find a dress that I liked along with shoes to go with it. Now the only I have to find is jewalry which shouldn't be hard at all.

Later on, on Friday night, I was able to go to the airport to greet a girl in our ward who was coming home from her mission. Her younger sister, Danyale is one of my best friends, and so it was really fun to see her come home. You are always wondering if missionaries will change when they come home from their missions. Ashley, I thought, didn't change that much, other than I thought she was more humble after than she was before.

On Sunday, we got to hear her speak in sacrament meeting. Her talk was wonderful and the thing was she was all worried about it at the airport. She was stressing all over it and in fact it turned out to be a really good talk. The girl's in our family were also had the opportunity to sing a musical number, entitled Beautiful Savior. Overall, I thought it went really well and so did the congregation. My grandma even said that we should make a CD out of it. After church, we all went back to our house and chilled there. My mom and I had a mtg. to go to after church. When we finally came back, we were happy about being able to rest. It was a fun day. We visited, ate, played games, and overall had a good time.

My weekend turned out to be a very good one.

It has been a very long time since I posted I decided I would update it with things going on in my life. A couple of weeks ago my family and I were able to do the Salt Lake Connect Pass. It gets you into 14 different attractions to an amazingly low price. There are different options varying from one day passes all the way to yearly passes. Out of everything we did the favorites of mine were the Zoo, the Lionhouse, and the Clark Planetarium. First off, who doesn't like the zoo! All right, there are probably a few who hate walking around in the 90 degree weather looking at animals. But I absolutely love it. I look forward going to the zoo at least once a year. I'll admit my favorite animal is one that people would think weird but I love crocodiles nonetheless. The only disappointing thing about seeing the crocodiles are that they are always sleeping. Going Skydiving

On April 19, 2014 I had the chance to go skydiving with my family. It was such an amazing experience and I will definitely do it again. Someone was nice enough to pay for my sister and I to go. I am so blessed to have some amazing people in my life. She sure do care and I am so grateful for their examples. We went to Urda just past Tooele to do it. It was very funny because before we went to get all suited up to go we watched this 15 minute video on what to do when you were going to jump out of the airplane. The guy had the longest beard I had ever seen. I was wondering if it was actually fake lol. He gave us different symbols such as chicken wing and banana. It was very interesting for sure. Then we all got suited up and each of us had a photographer as and a video man who filmed us and took pictures. I am so glad we signed up for that because those memories are going to last forever.
