Christmas and New Year's

This year I had an awesome Christmas. It was probably one of my best Christmas's yet. It all started on Christmas Eve. Jared and Kiersten came over to our house and we enjoyed ourselves with a nice dinner my mom made and then after we each opened one present that is a tradition in our house. That was fun. Then we watched a christmas movie entitled Joy to the World which was really good. After, we all played Disney Scene It. If you haven't played this game before I strongely reccomend you do. It is a very a fun game. The thing that made playing this game more enjoyable was our family got into it. We are a very competitive family when it comes to games.

On Christmas Day, we all slept in for a little bit before going in to see our presents. The thing I got that I was most excited for was my new phone. I got an envy from verizon wireless. Now my sister and I text more than we talk on the phone. A few other things I got was clothes from florida (my dad went to florida on a business trip and brought stuff back for us), jewlary from there as well, the twilight soundtrack, a piano book, and stuff from my stocking. Later that night, our extended family came over in the which we were able to feast upon delicious pizza that my older brother made and enjoyed each others company. Later on, we played scene it and watched some old family videos. They were pretty fun to watch. However, when everybody left the weather was terrible. It was a blizzard but luckily every body got home safely. Overall, it was a very fun christmas.

After Christmas, we went sledding. The hill we went to was very fast and fun. However, I didn't like having to walk up the hill after sledding because it was tireding but other than that it was fun.

Now getting to New Years. For New Year's Eve I was invited to go to a get together at a kid's house where we had yummy food, talked, and watched two movies. When a Stranger Calls and the Cave. I had never seen When a Stranger Calls so I was eager to watch it. I liked it and the Cave. Finally, I went home watched part of a movie before falling asleep on the couch.

I am so excited for 2009. Some resolutions I have are cutting down on the sugar, exercising more, and reading more books. I am especially excited to graduate from high school, excited to have a new niece or nephew, and just enjoying life.
