Recap from October to November

I am sorry to say, but I am really bad at managing my posts. Sometimes I write one every two weeks and sometimes I don't write for a month, so again I apologize.

Halloween was so much fun. I was a vampire. I have a picture of my brother and I. It is really cool, so I'll post it soon. The thing that was fun about Halloween was for the first time we did a Haunted House. It look a whole lot of work to make but it was sure worth it. The fun part of it all was scaring the little kids. We even made one girl cry, sadly enough (not really). Even thirteen year old boys were scared to go in, what's up with that. A seven year old even went in by herself with no trouble at all. Our neighborhood really doesn't get a lot of trick-or-treaters because our houses are so spread apart. They don't know that our neighborhood give the big size candy bars. We had more than double trick-or-treaters come this year than last year so that was awesome.

I don't know if you have heard or not about the movie, The Secret Life of Bees. I am currently reading the book and I saw the movie. I loved the movie. It teaches very good lessons and I recommend all to see it.

Just last Saturday I was able to go to the last home football game for BYU. It wasn't much of a contest since their opponent wasn't that good but I still enjoyed the competition. Speaking of football, in the NFL it is kind of disappointing me that the Colts aren't doing so well. However, I was so happy when I saw on Sunday that they won the Pittsburgh Steelers at their home. It has been a long time since Indianapolis has beat them at their home.

Well, it is crazy to think that Thanksgiving is only about two weeks away. I am so excited for Thanksgiving and also for Christmas. I am also really excited about going to see Twilight the movie. I am really not having expectations though for it, knowing it won't be better than the book, but it will still be fun to see. I am also looking forward to the Holy War. That Battle between BYU and Utah. That will be fun to see who wins.

It has been a very long time since I posted I decided I would update it with things going on in my life. A couple of weeks ago my family and I were able to do the Salt Lake Connect Pass. It gets you into 14 different attractions to an amazingly low price. There are different options varying from one day passes all the way to yearly passes. Out of everything we did the favorites of mine were the Zoo, the Lionhouse, and the Clark Planetarium. First off, who doesn't like the zoo! All right, there are probably a few who hate walking around in the 90 degree weather looking at animals. But I absolutely love it. I look forward going to the zoo at least once a year. I'll admit my favorite animal is one that people would think weird but I love crocodiles nonetheless. The only disappointing thing about seeing the crocodiles are that they are always sleeping. Going Skydiving

On April 19, 2014 I had the chance to go skydiving with my family. It was such an amazing experience and I will definitely do it again. Someone was nice enough to pay for my sister and I to go. I am so blessed to have some amazing people in my life. She sure do care and I am so grateful for their examples. We went to Urda just past Tooele to do it. It was very funny because before we went to get all suited up to go we watched this 15 minute video on what to do when you were going to jump out of the airplane. The guy had the longest beard I had ever seen. I was wondering if it was actually fake lol. He gave us different symbols such as chicken wing and banana. It was very interesting for sure. Then we all got suited up and each of us had a photographer as and a video man who filmed us and took pictures. I am so glad we signed up for that because those memories are going to last forever.
