So You Think You Can Dance is over already
It seems like the show just started and now it is
already over. In my opinion, I thought this was the best season ever.
All the top 4 deserved to be there, including Courtney. Because at
first, I was shocked that Chelsea, got eliminated, but Courtney turned
out to be better than I expected her to be. Overall, each and every one
of them were very talented, and added their own thing to the
competition.
Starting out with the girls, what I loved about
Katee was her desire to dance. Just like Cat said, "you were born to
dance" and she really was. Every dance she performed on stage were
amazing. What I liked about Courtney was her flow of energy she brought
to the dance stage. It didn't matter if the judges gave her a hard time
on a dance she was still smiling and having a good attitude. Chelsea,
first off, what an amazing dancer she was, especially inLatin routines. She smoked everyone! I think it was when she danced with Gev, that the judges said she was the one that stood out to them in the red dress. But not only could she do Latin
, Adam one of the guest judges, said (I am paraphrasing) "what can't
you do", because really she could take any genre of dance and look good
in it. Comfort, I loved because she had a great sense of humor, but
more importantly the dance she is best in HIP-HOP!!!! I loved the
hip-hop dance from her and Twitch. It was awesome! Jessica, it seemed
like she got the mostcriticizing remarks from the judges. But, I
thought she did some great dances. That is sad she got hurt, but good
that she is recovering so she can go on tour. The last of the girls,Kherington. I loved her being paired with Twitch. I thought they were a good couple and had good chemistry together. Kherington, was all smiles. She performed to the best of her ability, and gave it her own.
Now
with the guys, Joshua. I loved him! It is amazing that an untrained
dancer won the competition. He was amazing in his dances, especially
with Katee. What really flowed my attention to him was how high he
could jump. He is going to have an amazing dance career, ahead of him,
no doubt. Twitch, oh such a funny guy. I loved his dances, I especially
liked the one with him and Katee, (the door one). He also did awesome
in his solos, I couldn't keep my eyes off of him. Mark, he was very
good at what he did. He had his own style it seemed like. And I thought
it was very unique. The performance I loved watching him in was where
he danced with Courtney, choreographed by Sonya. Will, what can I say
about this amazing guy. I loved his contemporary dances. I would say
them as what Mary said,"out of this world." Especially the one he did
with Katee (do you notice I keep mentioning Katee in a lot of the
dances)with Imagine by DavidArchuleta. Will was a great artist on the show. And then there is Gev
, the Russian man. He was so fun and so entertaining to watch. He gave
it his all, and did his best. Wow, what an amazing top 11 of dancers
this season brought. I know that each and every one of them will have
amazing careers.
It is sad the show is over but I am looking forward to next year, and see what it will bring.
