Prom

Yesterday, at about 9:30 or so the doorbell rings and my mom answers it. There on the porch is a Lucky Charms ceareal box. It says on the front, "Elise Nielsen, you'll be a Lucky charm if you go to prom with me." Then in the inside, he says to find his name. And I found it. I am so excited to go. So in response, I went to Kohlers and got a bag of peanut butter m&ms. Then, I sorted the blue m&ms from the red ones. I mixed them all up in a jar. On the jar, I wrote, "Craig, if there are more blue m&ms than red m&ms then you are a BYU fan and I say yes but, if there are more red m&ms then you are a Ute fan and I say no. There are 30 blue m&ms and 29 red m&ms. So, I am taking it to his house tonight.

I hope you all had a fun Easter. I know I did. You think you are too old for Easter egg hunting but no one is. It is just like Halloween. No one is too old to trick-or-treat. But, people have different views this is just my opinion. I really liked Easter. Whether it was dying easter eggs, finding eggs, having family over, or just playing with my cousins, it was all good. Speaking of school, I am so happy that 3rd term is over. I have been so stressed the whole term. I am really suprised that I got the grades I did. Only one more term till school gets out. Yea!!!!! Then, I will be finally be a senior. I am so excited about that. High school is almost over. It could be a bad thing or a good thing. I think of it more of a good thing because so many people have said college is way better than high school, so that is what I am looking forward to, trusting what they have said. A few weeks ago, I was able to go to a movie called Vantage Point. If you haven't seen it I high

I got this article from msn.com. I thought it was really interesting. People like to get creative when it comes to selecting the perfect name for their new arrivals. But in the quest to be unique, some kids get stuck with monikers that do more than make them stand out in a crowd. Here's The Nest Baby's picks for the most questionable choices from the past year.Ptolemy: The only other one we know of is an ancient Greek astronomer, mathematician, and man extraordinaire. Actress Gretchen Mol reached a little too far back in history for this Mediterranean-inspired choice. No one will be able to pronounce it, and what happens when the kid studies his namesake in school? Ashby: If a name's going to start with "Ash" and end in a "y", there's just no question -- the middle's got to be "le." If you must mess with Ashley -– or any common name, for that matter -- please pick something that doesn't sound like a mispronunciation of the real th

On Friday, I had the opportunity to go to the high school semi finals basketball game between the highly contested Lone Peak Knights and the small but good Davis high school. The game was mostly favored by Davis. They went into halftime leading by seven points but good 'ole Lone Peak Peak climbed back and then it was back and forth from then on. The key thing was free throws. Davis got fouled with four seconds left and could have won the game if they made both, but they only hit one so it went into the first overtime. Then, still being tied after the end of 4 minutes of overtime they went to a double overtime. That is where Tyler Haws comes in. With about 4 seconds on the clock being defended very well he was able to shoot over the defenders head and make it through. The Lone Peak crowd went wild!. Of course I did. We sat by the Davis people (not the students though) so I was like the only one cheering for Lone Peak. This was the most intense basketball game I have ever
