The NBA Draft!

Image
This year in the draft I was anxious and excited to see who the Jazz would get. Turns out they picked 6"8, small forward Gordon Hayward. The thing that made me sort of irritated in this whole deal were the reactions from the fans. At the Energy Solutions Arena there were more boos than cheers. It's absolutely ridiculous. It seems like they complain every year with who the Jazz get. I don't blame them for wanting to draft bigger guys like Ed Davis or Greg Monroe, but Gordon Hayward is still pretty good. Here are some reasons why the Jazz made a good decision by drafting Gordon Hayward. First off, Hayward led his underdog Butler team to the national championship against Duke. I mean people weren't even expecting Butler to make it past even the first round and they only lost by two points to Duke. Secondly, Hayward averaged about 15 points a game. So he was one of the top scorers on the team. Thirdly, he can rebound. In the NBA, rebounding is crucial especiall

Five Guys!

Image
I am happy to say that I finally went and tried Five Guys Burgers and Fries out. I have been wanting to try out this place for a while and I finally got my chance so I did. Let me just say that the fries are to die for. They are so good. These fries, in my opinion, are better than JCW's, IKEAs, Icebergs, and In-n-Outs. What made them so good was that they were the long and big ones, not the wimpy, small ones at In-n-Outs. They were were delicious. The hamburger was pretty good as well. I recommend this burger joint for sure. If you are in the mood for hamburgers and fries check out Five Guys Burgers and Fries.

Hiking the Y!

So today Bryce and I attempted to hike up to the Y. We seriously didn't realize what we were getting ourselves into. It all started when we were driving up there. It was a yellow light and I didn't want to stop so I risked it and turns out it changes to red. A car is already turning and I have to slam on my brakes so I don't hit the car. That would've been an accident we would not have enjoyed or liked for that matter. So after all that, we finally were able to use our Google Map directions and get to the trail to the Y in no time. We found the trail and started hiking for two miles or so and we are getting towards the end and all that we saw was a fence and a car parking lot. I was not happy. So, we decided why don't we just climb up the mountains and see if we can find the Y that way. Turns out that was the worst idea ever. We start climbing higher and higher, and by the way we went off the trail and tried to find it ourselves. Don't ever do that wh
